I think these pictures were taken near North East Liverpool Technical College. I was meeting a friend there and had some time to spare… In image 1 there’s the familiar split-frame style with the drop off in focus on the left. I like the shape of the figure, there’s a sense of mystery to this photograph, almost like someone is being followed.
In image 2, I remember standing in the alley, camera poised, waiting for someone to walk past the gap at the end. The man pushing the old-school pram was perfect. The whole thing feels odd, which I really like.
