In many ways it was a year where we didn’t seem to stop moving.
A year of running, a year of travel, a year of raising glasses, a year of early starts and late nights, a year of football, a year of dancing…
A year that feels shorter than the previous one.
Most of these images we’re taken by me. Appreciation to strangers, friends and colleagues for the use of the ones that weren’t. Extra special thanks to fellow rambler Phil McAllister for some lovely Lakeland shots – More of his fine work can be viewed here.
Here’s to a happy and peaceful 2020.
When I turned fifty eight
It was a very good year
A year of planes and trains
Of cars and bars
And lakes and trees
A second wind or a breeze
Running up that hill
An adventure still
